USB 3.0 from Asus
Asus is better known for being the manufacturer of the motherboards of PC and laptops. Asus is bringing the next wave of the big developments in the field of data transfer technologies. This time, it is readying to put USB 3.0 technology in the PCs. The initial coverage seems to be only for Eee PC and other series. The data transfer technology is limited to USB 2.0, networks, FTP and copy operation from one disk to another using either cable or the Bluetooth technology. The new standard sets expectations high. Despite the claims, the USB 2.0 is not very high speed technology to copy the large files. The USB ports do have problems of having congestion and sometimes go out of operations and require refresh of the ports. USB 3.0 from Asus is certainly good news for the people and companies who work in online mode and require real time data coming from the live or hosted disks. It is not only the options the devices also must be ready to support USB 3.0.
